Building Security & Communication Reminder

Dear Press Owners & Residents,
There has been an increase in unauthorized entries, package and bike thefts caused by residents allowing people into the building (garage and front entries). We ask that you carefully review the following reminders and rules to ensure the security of the building for all Press residents:
· Garage – When entering or leaving the garage, you MUST wait for the gate to completely close (timer set at 10 seconds) before pulling away.
· Parking – The declaration for Press prohibits renting or leasing parking spaces to anyone who is not a resident of the building. Any unit owner found to be renting or leasing their parking space to a non-Press resident will be asked to cease this activity and may incur fines per the rules.
· Front Entry – When entering or leaving the building through any of the access points, DO NOT allow anyone to enter. We understand it is polite to hold the door for someone, but this causes a severe security risk to the building and your fellow neighbors.
Due to the severe nature of what has and could happen by someone getting into the building the Board and management will continue to send notices to those residents who do not follow these guidelines. Any unit occupant, visitor or guest that allows someone to enter the building without verifying access authorization, the unit owner will receive the applicable fines per the rules.
