Garage Gate Security Reminder!!!

Good afternoon,



There was an intruder this week that gained access through the Press garage gate while a car exiting was waiting for gate to close while.





As a result, I want to provide the community a few quick reminders on ways which you can vigilant against future incidents:




While waiting for garage to close, make sure you are watching around and the gate as it closes. Based on the few incidents that have come across my desk, usually those that get in are paying close attention to habits of cars exiting and entering. If they see you not paying attention, that is an in for them. So, try to be mindful and observant once again when waiting for the gate to close.
Garage gate should only be used for entry and exiting by vehicles, Fogón staff and maintenance. Other than that, it should not be used by anyone walking. There is a pedestrian side door for entrance by fob and exiting.
If you see someone entering the garage on foot, please report to me or CWD After-Hours Hotline.
If you're not comfortable confronting someone, make it a point to reach out to someone you know in the building or use the Press FB Group to alert other residents of the person and maybe ask for help to monitor the active situation. There is always strength in numbers, reaching out to fellow community members can get more eyes and support on the situation.
