Packages & Security Camera Review

Happy New Year Press Residents!



As many residents are aware, both Press 1 and Press 2 have security cameras monitoring the common spaces, such as entrances and mail areas. These cameras have been installed to assist with Common Area security, and provide footage related to Condo Association matters. While it is understood why residents reach out requesting footage related to individual packages that have been taken, it is not realistic to provide the footage to owners who have missing packages.



In the past Justin has been accommodating to residents when he could, but as the requests have grown, these requests will no longer be met. Having a package go missing is frustrating, whether it is a gift sent from a loved one or an item you have ordered from Amazon, it is a personal item that has been taken from you. So, while we empathize with the situation, we ask you understand individual packages and mail as a personal matter, and recognize the footage is meant for Association related issues.



For those that are expecting packages, and not able to retrieve them shortly after delivery you are encouraged to use other resources to protect these packages from theft. Using package lockers, off-site mail location, teaming up with neighbors to help in with packages, and working with delivery services to hold deliveries or re-route if needed are some possibilities.
