Parking Space, Fines and Towing

Parking Space, Fines and Towing

Published September 16, 2022

Good Afternoon Press Owners,

In the last week Management has had mulitple units call to complain about cars parking in the wrong space and or parking over the line.

I currently and trying to track down the owner of a Silver Acura, with British Columbia Plates HG833V parked in space #6. You need to move your car ASAP to allow the owner of this space its use. If you know who this car belongs to please share this information with either the owner of this car or with Management.

Please take this as a reminder that parking spaces are assigned to units. Whether they are utilized on a regular basis or not, parking in a space without permission is violation of the Declaration and a huge inconvenience to the owner of that space. The Association is working to finalize an agreement with a towing company which will allow owners to tow unauthorized cars from their parking spaces. This agreement will be finalized and enforceable this weekend.

If cars are parked in way which impedes neighboring spaces to utilize their parking spaces this is a violation that can result in fines in the amounts of $100 to $500.

It is noted that in many cases parking spaces at The Press are often small, but the importance of using only the assigned space is of great importance. If there are any questions on space assignment I have linked the most current update to The Press's parking addendum. PR-Current Parking Amendment 22-0914.pdf

Thank you again,
