Reminder - Fire Alarm Testing - Tuesday, December 10th

Dear Press Residents,



A reminder to all unit occupants in regard to the fire alarm testing coming up this Tuesday, December 10th.

The annual fire inspection is scheduled for next week, Tuesday, December 10th. The testing requires entry into all units to perform a test of the audible alarm and a visual inspection of the sprinkler heads. The in unit inspections will take several minutes to complete per unit.

What To Expect: The testing and inspections will begin in the Press 2 building around 9am. Please note audible alarms will be sounding and ongoing in the units, hallways, and lobby, and the sound will be significant. During this time we will be entering units to perform the in unit inspections. Also, the elevator will be offline during most of the testing so please plan accordingly. We are looking to have the testing completed at Press 2 in the 9am to 11am window.

Testing for Press 1 will begin around 11am and follow the same process from Press 2. Audible alarms will be sounding throughout Press 1 and will be ongoing starting around 11am and unit inspections will be taking place at that time and the elevator will be out of service. We are looking to wrap up the testing by 1pm.



Important: If you received a notice earlier this week that we do not have a spare key on file for you, please plan to either be home to allow access or leave a key with me before December 10th. Keys can also be dropped into the lockbox mounted on the wall of Press 1 near the Conference Room.
