Reminder of Special Assessment due August 1, 2023

Dear Press Owners,

As some of you may remember from the 2023 Budget Ratification meeting in February the Board did approve a Special Assessment to boost The Press's Reserves. It was ratified by membership at homeowner's meeting in February. Notice of that meeting can be found: Press 2023 Annual Meeting Notice

The Special Assessment is meant to be a 1-time payment due on August 1, 2023. As we are nearly 3-months from this due date please take this as a reminder that this payment is coming.

In the coming weeks we will be asking owners to decide on payment in full or a 5-month payment plan. There are additional management fees to those on a payment plan, these are approximately $15 per month.

It is understood that the Special Assessment is a financial burden that will affect each owner in different ways. Please know that while the Board did take this into consideration, the Board's duty is to protect the health of the Association as a whole and this is why the decision was made. In providing advanced notice and offering a payment plan the Board is working to accommodate owners.
