REMINDER - Unit Access Needed October 27th

A reminder about the upcoming fire alarm testing coming up this Monday, October 27th - details below.





Please note that entry is required for all units. If entry is not granted, the unit owner will be charged for the cost of a return visit, along with any compliance related fines levied from the Seattle Fire Department.

The annual fire inspection is scheduled for Monday, October 27th starting at 9:00am. The testing requires entry into all units to perform a test of the audible alarm and to conduct a visual inspection of the sprinkler heads. The in-unit inspections will take several minutes to complete per unit.

What To Expect: The testing and inspections will begin in the Press 1 building around 9:00am. Please note audible alarms will be sounding in the units, hallways, and lobby, and the sound will be significant. During this time we will be entering units to perform the in-unit inspections. Also, the elevator will be offline during most of the testing so please plan accordingly. We are looking to have the testing completed at Press 1 shortly before Noon.

Testing for Press 2 is expected to begin just past Noon and will follow the same process from Press 1. Audible alarms will be sounding at that time throughout Press 2. Unit inspections will be taking place at that time and the elevator will be offline during most of the testing. We are looking to wrap up the testing by 4:00pm.
