Watch the Front Door!!!!
Published March 29, 2024
Good afternoon, Press
There was a call on Sunday morning from the CWD On-Call Manager that the Press 2 door would not close. Pedro from the HOA Board went out to investigate and identified a piece of a tree twig wedged into the hinged side of entry doors. The twig was removed, and no damage was done to door, and it continued to function as per normal. Upon later security video review, it was determined that there were no signs of anyone entering the building, but around 4:48am, there was an unidentified person in front of the door who stuck the found twig in door there.
I’ve also received reports of this happening at other buildings in the area and I suspect that they are being placed by someone who hopes that when the door is next opened, the branch slips into position to keep the door from closing tightly.
So, we are asking ALL residents to be mindful and assist with controlling access to the building. Please be on the lookout for outside doors not closing and to look for said twigs or other items along the hinged door side keeping the door from closing. As well as, just taking a little more time to make sure that the door is latched behind you when exiting and entering building.
